The Creta Electric is one of the most popular electric SUVs from the brand. Hyundai has provided an option of two battery packs: a smaller 42 kWh battery pack and a bigger 51.4 kWh battery pack. The cost of the bigger 51.4 kWh battery pack costs around 17-18 lakh, as confirmed by the company dealers.

Creta Electric Battery Replacement Cost

However, we spoke to the dealer, and as per their information, during the warranty period, only those modules will be replaced which are defective, not the entire battery. However, once the warranty period is over, the approximate cost is Rs 20,000 per cell. The NMC battery pack in the Creta Electric has a total of 22 modules, with each module including 4 cells. So going by that

Total Cost of Battery Replacement: Rs 17-18 Lakh. 

Hyundai Creta Electric Battery Warranty

The Hyundai Creta Electric comes with a standard warranty of 3 years / unlimited Km, while the high-voltage battery comes with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km whichever comes first. It also comes with a 3-year warranty for the home wall box charger and also includes 3-year roadside assistance (RSA). 

Coverage: The warranty covers protection against defects in electrical components. 

Creta Electric Battery Replacement Cost

Battery Maintenance: To maintain the warranty, the company advises to charge the car’s battery once every 3 months, if you are not using the car regularly. Also use AC charging for optimal performance.
