The new Tata Sierra has been teased in anticipation of its launch on November 25.

Tata Motors is all set to redefine themselves by launching the all-new Sierra in November 2025 and has just dropped teasers which show the glimpse of the upcoming SUV. This legendary nameplate is back after 22 years since the first-generation model’s production ended way back in 2003. 

The company will be positioning the Sierra above the Curvv in their existing portfolio as Tata’s new mid-size SUV is all set to be equipped with advanced technology and powertrain options. 

New Tata Sierra Design

The new teasers showcase some of the design highlights of the production-model of Sierra. These include elements carried forward from the first-generation model such as the high-placed bonnet, large B-pillars, and squared-off front and rear fascias. There is also an inclusion of rear-side windows that smartly wrap around the roof, with the integration of partially blacked-out roof. 

The new Sierra also features raised roof rails, full-width LED bars placed at the front and back, and large 19-inch alloy wheels. The teaser also provided a glimpse of silver front and rear scuff plates, along with the bold ‘SIERRA’ branding on the front grille, front doors and boot. 

Some other details include pop-out door handles, black lower-body cladding, and partially blacked-out D pillars embossed with a ‘Floating’ effect. 

Tata New Sierra Features

The teaser also showcased the premium-looking interiors of the all-new Sierra featuring a two-tone dashboard and steering wheel. The overall dashboard is designed with a flat-bottom and integrated with piano-black trim and an illuminated Tata logo. It is also expected that the new Sierra will be getting a massive boot with comfortable seating for at least 5 occupants. 

• Sierra will be incorporating a digital real-estate which includes three screens placed in a single curved panel, LED cabin lights, panoramic sunroof, rear-window sunblinds, and an auto dimming IRVM. 
• Other features include ventilated front seats, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, Level 2 ADAS, surround-view cameras, and inclusion of 6 airbags. 

New Tata Sierra Battery & Performance

The Sierra will be coming with a variety of powertrain options ranging from Petrol, Diesel and EV configurations. The engine options on the Sierra are likely to incorporate a 1.5 litre Turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5 litre diesel engine with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions, depending on the engine selected. 

The new Sierra will be also available with electric power as it could be powered with a choice of 55 kWh and 65 kWh battery pack options. 

New Tata Sierra Price & Competition 

The upcoming new Sierra is likely to be priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20 lakh. On the other hand, the Sierra EV could be priced from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom India). 

Tata is positioning the Sierra in a sub-compact SUV segment which is quite competitive and thus Sierra could be rivalling against Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, and the entry-level version of the BYD Atto 3.
