JSW Motors hints at the arrival of a new SUV based on the Jetour T2.
The company has officially teased its upcoming plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV for the first time in an advertisement to bring new dealer partners. This new electric SUV will be the first electric vehicle from JSW Motors for the Indian market and will be locally assembled at the Chatrapati Sambhajinagar plant in Maharashtra.
JSW Motors SUV Details: What is Spotted?
The teaser image showcases the front profile of the upcoming JSW Motors SUV and features horizontal LED headlight strips with a circular housing and pixel-shaped LED fog lamps. A closer inspection also displays the upright bonnet and protruding rear bumpers with wheel arches, all which are quite similar to the Jeteour T2.
The outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) are different and look a bit smaller. The Indian-spec model will also house a JSW badge placed in the front of Jeteour lettering.

Upcoming JSW Motors SUV: Battery & Powertrain
The international-spec Jeteour T2 is available with Plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric (EV) versions, however as per reports, the India-spec model will only be available with the hybrid setup.
POWER: The PHEV version is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine integrated with a 26.7 kWh battery pack generating a maximum power output of 154 Hp and a peak torque of 220 Nm.
