BYD’s performance sedan, Seal sedan has just got revised and has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 41 Lakh, (Ex-Showroom), for the dynamic (RWD) variant. However, the performance variants and the Premium (RWD) variant costs Rs 53.15 Lakh and 45.70 lakh respectively.
It is important to note that the prices for the base variants remain unchanged, with the prices for top two variants being increased by Rs 15,000 each.
2025 BYD Seal Highlights
The 2025 BYD Seal features enhancements including a power sunshade and a silver-coated dimming canopy. The HVAC conditioning system has also been updated with a larger compressor and a completely new air purification system.
Premium Variant: The latest premium model features Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD) for an enhanced ride experience, while the performance versions will incorporate the DiSus-C intelligent damping system for improved handling and exceptional comfort.
- Standard features include Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a new sound wave function which is specifically designed for a superior acoustic performance inside the cabin.
2025 BYD Seal: Technical Specifications
The main Dynamic Variant comes with a 61.44 kWh battery and features rear-wheel drive motors. This combination delivers a maximum power of 201 Bhp and 310 Nm of torque, providing a healthy 510 Km of range.
Premium Variant: This high-end model boasts an 82.56 kWh battery and comes with a rear-wheel drive setup. It offers a substantial power and torque rated at 308 Hp and 360 Nm of torque, providing a significant range of 650 Km.
Performance Variant: The premium BYD Seal performance model features an 82.56 kWh battery pack, and as indicated by its name, it comes equipped with an all-wheel drive system, producing an impressive 523 Bhp and 670 Nm of torque. The claimed range is 580 Km.
CHARGING: Charging the BYD Seal from 0 to 100% with a standard 7 kW AC charger will require a lengthy 12 hours, whereas the dynamic version can be also charged via 110 kW charger. The higher variants are capable of supporting 150 kW charger.
