The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition has been launched with a price tag of Rs 27.79 lakh.

Mahindra has introduced a special Batman Edition variant of the BE 6 electric SUV at an introductory price of Rs 27.79 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). It is a black edition of the top-spec variant of the BE 6 that is equipped with a larger 79 kWh battery pack. In order to make this edition special, the company has announced that they will be manufacturing only 300 units of this special Batman Edition, making it limited yet exclusive for Indian roads. 

Mahindra has announced that the special edition of this electric SUV is the world’s first commercially marketed Batman-themed EV. Mahindra is aiming to expand the sales of the BE 6 with their launch of this special edition. 

The company has also smartly timed the launch as festive season is around the corner and the launch of Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition could be a great strategic move to attract consumers towards them, as the festive season is set to be the most prosperous times of the year, especially for the Indian Auto Industry, where a majority of sales has been registered every year, thus increasing the demand for electric cars.

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: Booking & Delivery Details

According to Mahindra, the bookings for the BE 6 Batman Edition will commence from August 23, and this electric SUV can also be booked via the company's official website as well as company distributors available near your city. The deliveries for the BE 6 Batman Edition are scheduled to start from September 20. 

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition Price

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is available for users at an exciting rate of Rs 27.79 Lakh, which is the ex-showroom price for the electric SUV, but without charger and installation cost. The company has provided two options for the charger, which are available at an extra cost of Rs 50,000 for the 7.2 kW charger and Rs 75,000 for the bigger 11.2 kW unit. 

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition Battery & Features

The battery configurations are unchanged as the all-new BE 6 Batman Edition is powered by the same 79 kWh battery pack which is integrated with a single electric motor providing a significant range of 500 Km on a single charge. 

The electric motor generates a peak power of 282 BHP and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. The BE 6 also supports DC fast charging up to 175 kW and can be charged from 20-80% in just 20 minutes. 

On the inside, the BE 6 Black Edition is designed with two shades of black integrated with gold accents, with a gold finish embroidered on the driver’s seat with a contrasting gold stitching for the upholstery, with a special Batman Edition plaque and a specific numbering on the central console, which is further enhanced with Dark Knight trilogy logo displayed on the seats, interior labels, interior door handles, passenger side of the dashboard and specifically on the boost button present on the steering wheel. 

There is also an inclusion of ambient lighting which is integrated into a panoramic glass roof and is inspired with Dark Knight trilogy-theme and puddle lamps designed to throw the Batman Logo when lit up in the dark.
