The Mahindra XEV 9S is the first electric seven seater from the company and comes with an option of three battery packs: 59 kWh, 70 kWh and bigger 79 kWh. The replacement cost of XEV 9S’s high-voltage battery ranges from 5 to 10 lakhs, depending on which battery pack you choose.

Mahindra XEV 9S Battery Warranty 

Mahindra provides lifetime warranty on the XEV 9S high-voltage battery specifically for the first owner, providing extensive coverage for 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs. If the ownership is transferred to the second owner, the warranty is converted to 10 years or 2,00,000 km, whichever comes first. The vehicle is powered by high-capacity BYD Blade cells. 

Exclusions: The lifetime warranty is not applicable for commercial vehicles, taxi fleets, or demo cars, which are automatically limited to the 10-year/2,00,000 km warranty period.
