India's Tesla Model Y pricing, covering colors and options, has now been revealed.

Tesla has finally disclosed all the prices for Tesla Model Y, with the grand opening of the inaugural Tesla India showroom in Mumbai. The company has also started accepting bookings for the Model Y and has launched a dedicated configurator which allows customers to give clear information about their cars before purchase. This details a range of color schemes and optional enhancements available for the Tesla Model Y.

Tesla Model Y Colour Schemes 

There are a total of six paint shades available for the Tesla Model Y and only Stealth Grey is standard across the variants, while the other colours come at various costs. 

There’s an option for the Pearl White Multi-coat at an extra charge of Rs 95,000, or you can choose the Diamond-Black. The Glacier Blue hue, however, will cost you Rs 1,25,000, followed by the Quicksilver and Ultra red which commands a premium of Rs 1,85,000 each. 

However, there are more options also available such as the interior comes with all-black pattern as standard but users have the option of choosing black and white interior theme at an extra cost of Rs 95,000. 

Tesla Model Y Optional Features

The Model Y is available with a single optional feature which includes a Tesla’s full self-drive system also called as Tesla Autopilot. Various technological advancements and new innovations have made this a reality and is legal in many international markets, this feature increases the ability of the car to handle full autonomous driving with almost negligible driver interventions. Nonetheless, this feature comes with a price tag of Rs 6 Lakh.

The Indian automotive market is also witnessing innovations at a huge scale as ADAS features in India are available in many cars but it will be interesting to see how it will function in Indian road conditions. The Tesla Indian website has clarified that the fully autonomous features will be updated in their cars “in Future Updates” and the currently available technology in the car requires driver supervision. 

It is also important to note that further updated features will be only applicable for Indian road conditions on passing the regulatory approval. 

Tesla Model Y Pricing in India and Financing Plans.

The Indian consumers can book Model Y through the company’s website for a non-refundable deposit of Rs 22,220 as a booking amount, followed by a price of Rs 3 Lakh in the period of 7 days. The website has also provided various payment options as users can pay via card or even UPI.
