Tata Motors has launched the top-spec QWD version of the Harrier EV at an introductory price of Rs 28.99 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). Tata has revealed the prices just after announcing the prices of Harrier RWD which will start from Rs 21.49 Lakh (Ex-Showroom).

Tata’s flagship electric SUV will take on the likes of Mahindra XEV 9e, apart from this it will also go head on with BYD Atto 3 and Hyundai Ioniq 5, positioned at the same segment. With the Harrier EV, you will have multiple color options to choose from, including Nainital Nocturnal, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey, and Pristine White.

Apart from this, users will also have a choice to get a special blacked-out Stealth Edition. The top-spec model will be available for bookings starting July 2.

Tata Harrier EV QWD Design

Visually, the top of the line Harrier EV QWD is identical to the ICE Harrier. However, it gets specific EV highlighted styling elements such as a closed-off grille which improves the aerodynamic efficiency of the electric SUV especially at high speeds.

The bumpers are also redesigned with vertical satin silver sets which cools down the internal components in order to regulate the temperature of batteries and the motors, which are the crucial components of an EV. Apart from this, the front part is exactly similar to the Harrier ICE, but now features additional DRLs which are connected to the Harrier EV.

Coming to the side profile of the electric SUV, the Harrier EV is identical to the diesel version, but comes with specific changes such as addition of a larger 18-inch alloy wheels which features aero styling in order to improve the overall efficiency of the SUV.

However, the Harrier EV doesn’t get modern looking flush-type door handles which were introduced in Tata Curvv, and recently made a debut with Tata Altroz as well. The rear design of the Harrier EV is identical to that of the Harrier diesel, maintaining an LED tail light strip and having rear bumpers that have undergone minor redesigns.
