ChargeZone and Fresh Bus have expanded their strategic alliance, as Fresh Bus will add an extra 400 electric buses on ChargeZone’s charging network. The expansion will also increase the Fresh Bus fleet supported by ChargeZone’s infrastructure from 100 to 500 buses. 

At its full scale, this collaboration is expected to generate 100 million units of energy annually and support more than 20,000 passenger journeys in a day. According to companies, the expanding operations could help in reducing approximately 9,000-10,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.

As per additional fleet, ChargeZone will deploy around 30 MW of new charging capacity alongside the existing 10 MW specifically to the Fresh Bus network, taking the total capacity to 40 MW. This deployment is ChargeZone’s strategy to add 200 MW of charging capacity across its national network. 

ChargeZone Network

ChargeZone operates in more than 15,000 charging points which is expanded across 1,200+ locations in India and the UAE, serving passenger and commercial electric vehicles. The platform also comprises ChargeCloud and AutoCharge. 

Fresh Bus also operates electric intercity buses in India, providing features such as real-time tracking, IoT-based monitoring and security systems.
