Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The battery itself is owned by the manufacturer, which is a third-party battery asset management company, responsible for underwriting the lease. You are paying a rent for the battery which is charged on a per-kilometer rental fees basis as you are using the company's asset.

Missing a BaaS payment calls for a structured recovery procedure, as the battery is on rent with an active connection to the provider.

The profitability or the ‘Break-even point’ of opting the BaaS is totally dependent on the user as to how he is comparing the BaaS against buying the EV outright with the battery or comparing it with a conventional ICE-powered car.
