Euler Motors has launched their latest Euler Turbo EV 1000, which is a 1-tonne four-wheeler electric commercial vehicle (eCV). As per the company, the vehicle can help to save up to Rs 1.15 lakh to operators as compared to petrol or diesel vehicles. 

Euler Motors is a Delhi based electric vehicle manufacturer, focussing on the production of electric commercial vehicles exclusively for cargo delivery. The company states that the Turbo EV 1000 is the first eCV in the 1-tonne category and is a third product from their dedicated lineup of electric vehicles, followed by Storm EV. Euler Motors has provided nine first-in-segment features.

Turbo EV 1000 Technical Specifications

  • It is powered by a 15.36 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack with a warranty of 5 years or 1,50,000 Km, whichever comes first. 
  • It has a maximum payload capacity of 1,000 Kg and a GVW of 1900 Kg. 
  • The dedicated Load Body is up to 8.3 ft / 220 cu ft
  • Turbo EV 1000 provides a significant range of 140-170 Km on a single charge and generates maximum power of 15 kW with a peak torque of 120 Nm and is equipped with an LV AC PMSM electric motor. 
  • It houses a 230 mm disc brake with a dedicated R13 Wheel Platform. 
  • It can be fully charged in 4 to 4.5 hours from an AC charger and it also supports CCS 2 fast charging, adding a significant 50 km of range within 15 mins of fast charging. 

Euler 1 ton electric

The financing options starts with EMIs starting at Rs 10,000 per month at a down payment of Rs 49,999. The vehicle comes with three variants to choose from: 

  • CITY (Rs 5,99,999)
  • FAST CHARGE (Rs 8,19,999)
  • MAXX (Rs 7,19,999)

Euler Motors has developed this vehicle exclusively for small fleet operators and driver-entrepreneurs, in order to reduce the upfront costs, running expenses and ownership cost in the commercial vehicle segment. 

The CEO of Euler Motors, Saurav Kumar expressed his views on the launch and said, “this launch follows the guidelines of evolving transport policies, GST reforms, and rapidly advancing fleet economies in Indian metro cities. He also expressed further that Turbo 1000 could lead to increasing electric adoption in the 4W commercial vehicle category, which has an expected current standing at 2%.”
