JSW Motors collaborates with KPIT Technologies to develop software for NEVs.

JSW Motors have joined forces with KPIT Technologies to enter into a strategic alliance for the development of new software and digital systems for New Energy Vehicles (NEVs). 

This partnership will be concentrating on using the KPIT’s experience in software and systems development and take it to a global level by going across vehicle production programs, which includes Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Initiatives. Thus this alliance is in sync with JSW Motors plans to launch NEVs in the Indian market and transform the EV market with new revolutionary technologies. 

This agreement states that KPIT Technologies will be providing their experience in key areas of electric propulsion systems, battery chemistries, and SDV architectures. KPIT will be also developing a dedicated center related to excellence in order to work effectively with JSW motors. 

The CEO and MD of KPIT Technologies, Kishore Patil, expressed his views on the collaboration and said, “KPIT is glad to be in a partnership with JSW Motors in their revolutionary journey towards transforming India’s electric mobility.
