Kinetic Green and Exponent Energy unveil a 15-minute charging solution for electric three-wheelers.

Kinetic Green Energy & Power Solutions, a manufacturer of electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers has collaborated with Bengaluru-based Exponent Energy, a startup undergoing development of charging infrastructure for commercial EVs. 

Under a joint partnership, they have introduced a 15-minute charging solution for L5 and L3 electric three-wheelers, which also comprises e-rikshaws and e-carts. This partnership will be focussing on helping last-mile mobility operators specifically situated in urban and semi-urban localities. 

This strategic alliance will integrate 15-minute charging with Kinetic Green’s L3 models such as Safar Smart, Safar Shakti, and Super DX, ensuring regular charging intervals and constant operating hours by up to 30%, as claimed by the company. 

The L5N Safar Jumbo loader, specifically developed for logistics applications, will also be including the 15-minute charging system for reduced charging times. The upcoming L5M passenger variant will be exclusively designed for intercity routes and has a top speed of 50 km/h, and is expected to integrate the same technology. 

Thus this joint collaboration will solidify Kinetic Green’s position in the fast-charging e3W segment, specifically in the L3 category.
