JSW Motors will be revealing the detailed price list for MG Cybster at July 25. The Cyberster was first showcased in India at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025, with expected launch happening in coming weeks.

This electric sportscar will be the second car to be sold under MG’s premium Select dealerships after the recently introduced MG M9 electric MPV. The Cyberster is likely to be powered by a considerable 77 kWh battery pack in conjunction with an AWD transmission.

MG Cyberster Power & Performance

MG unveiled the top-spec AWD version of the Cyberster at the Auto Expo 2025 and is expected to launch the sportscar with the same specifications tomorrow. However, apart from the powerful AWD variant, the Cyberster also comes with an option of RWD variant integrated with a comparatively smaller 64 kWh battery pack sold globally.

The company is also thinking of launching this cost-effective variant for Indian consumers but currently they have kept the RWD model under evaluation.

POWER: This all-electric roadster is packed with dual motors with an AWD setup and generates a combined power of 510 Hp and a peak torque of 725 Nm, which is impressive as it can achieve a 0-100 kph in just 3.2 seconds of time frame which is just blazing fast. As outlined by the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC), the Cyberster boasts an extensive range of 580 Km on a single charge.

MG Cyberster New Features

As the detailed technical specifications will be official tomorrow, the Cyberster will be available with a variety of features such as 10.25-inch driver’s display coming with two 7-inch screens and a 7-inch vertically oriented touchscreen attached next to the drive selector.

There is also an addition of a convertible’s fabric roof control mechanism that uplifts the roof seamlessly. Other features include a Bose audio system, touch-enabled automatic A/C, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360 Degree Parking camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

MG Cyberster Expected Price in India

As the prices are about to be revealed tomorrow, it is expected that the ex-showroom price for this electric roadster could be in the price range of Rs 70 lakh as it will reach India through imports. As the company is positioning the Cyberster as an all-electric convertible roadster, the Cyberster comes under a segment with no direct competition.

However considering the price, the top-spec 530 Hp BYD Seal performance can give a tough competition at an ex-showroom price of Rs 53.15 Lakh, while other competitors offering convertible in India comprises 340 Hp BMW Z4 costing Rs 92.90 lakh (Ex-Showroom), 258 Hp Mercedes CLE Cabriolet available at a price of Rs 1.15 crore, and the powerful 476 Hp Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster coming at a price of Rs 2.47 crore.
