Kia has finally introduced the EV5 WKNDR concept and has reimagined adventure by stating that electric mobility is not just restricted to urban commutes, but it can be explored for the rough terrains. Kia has transformed the regular EV5 into a rugged design with functional aesthetics.

Kia’s Rugged Design Approach

Visually, the WKNDR concept looks bold and turns heads as it ditches the regular suburban looks for a boxy, muscular stance reinforced by big fenders and integrated with a substantial suspension lift. The design is also complimented by chunky all-terrain tyres that provide ruggedness on each terrain.

There is also an addition of a signature styled “Star Map” lighting that seamlessly blends with rugged elements, ensuring the vehicle looks modern and advanced even when covered with dust and mud.

Kia EV5 WKNDR Practical Features

Apart from looks, there is a lot of practicality provided which includes a heavy-duty roof rack with integrated LED lights that highlights the silhouette and provides space for storing essential camping gear. Other highlights include the side-mounted rail system, which provides a striking visual appeal and also ensures storage of modular attachments like storage boxes and gear mounts.

On the inside, the cabin is designed with a flexible “lounge” type seating and a tailgate that is convertible to a mobile table, ensuring a practical design that is one of the most important highlights of the Kia EV 5 WKNDR concept.
