Popular Youtuber, Sourav Joshi, recently took delivery of his new Mercedes Benz G580 EQ, which is also called the electric G-Wagon. This popular SUV is sold in India as a completely built-up unit (CBU) priced at approximately Rs 3 Crore (ex-showroom).
This SUV has been just launched by Mercedes in India and is quite a popular car of the brand as it has the ability to perform a tank turn, which the German manufacturer calls it as G Turn.
Mercedes G 580 EQ: Design and Features
Mercedes has retained the popular design from its petrol counterpart as the car has achieved goodwill from this generation.
The G 580 features the same traditional boxy shape which houses sporty aerodynamic wheels that adds to the overall style quotient of the car and is a perfect blend of performance and efficiency.
At the rear, design has been revised to give the electric SUV aesthetics, ensuring reliability and practicality. To give a rugged off-road SUV look, the German manufacturer has also styled the car with protective strips around its body for added durability.
INTERIORS: The interiors are well crafted and houses a three-pointed steering wheel with mounted controls. It also gets a dedicated Off-Road Cockpit that provides the drivers to monitor and adjust differential locks and low Range settings.
G 580 also gets a transparent bonnet function, which provides a view from the camera feeds, helping the drivers to navigate through tough terrains. This bulky SUV also gets the latest generation of Mercedes MBUX system,
G-ROAR: The G 580 also gets a unique standout feature called the G-Roar, which generates artificial sound from inside and outside the car, giving a kind of character and muscle to the overall silent electric car, giving it a legendary presence that makes it unique from other cars.

The all-new electric Mercedes G Wagon gets an impressive water-wading capacity of up to 850 mm and remains stable at the maximum incline of 35 degrees, which is equal to a 70% gradient.
This beefy SUV can smoothly climb on a 45-degree incline and boasts a ramp angle of 20.3 degrees, a rear angle of 30.7 degrees, and a remarkable 32-degree approach angle. G 580 provides an enormous ground clearance of 250 mm, which makes it the tallest SUVs available in the segment. These specifications confidently justify why the G-Wagon is called the king of SUVs.
