The Kia EV2 electric crossover is set to be revealed on January 9.
Kia is all set to introduce its smallest EV at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, which will be organised on January 9. Kia will be positioning the EV2 as its entry-level model in its electric portfolio and will be sold as the entry-level EV in the international markets. The EV2 is expected to be launched in India as Kia has also registered the name here in 2023.
Kia EV2 Expected Design
The teaser of the EV2 has revealed that the production-spec EV2's styling will be similar to the concept as it gets the same vertically placed LED lights on the either side, followed by a robust skid plate and imposing cladding placed underneath.
It will also retain the boxy shape and raised window line, although the company didn’t reveal the overall side profile of the car but at the rear, there is an addition of low-placed LED tail-lamps that has a striking resemblance to Kia Syros. It also features a prominent roof spoiler, slightly angled rear windscreen, and thick body cladding.

Kia EV2 Battery & Performance
Kia has not revealed the exact technical specifications of the EV2, but it is expected to be powered by the same 400-V E-GMP platform which has been utilised in the Hyundai Inster. However, Inster comes equipped with 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery pack options, and thus EV2 could be powered by the same configurations.
The EV2 will also feature a single electric motor, mounted at the front. However, the precise power output has not been clarified, so it is open for discussions. It is expected that the EV2 could provide 350-400 Km of range on a single charge.
