Maruti e-Vitara Drive: Delhi to Jaipur EV Journey & ‘e for me’ App Test
The road from Delhi to Jaipur is a testament to classic highway tales, but covering this highway with an electric vehicle is a revolutionary start of electric mobility. In a recent drive, the all-new Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara eradicated the range anxiety, which was a common fear for EV users initially.
The journey was not just a test drive but it was a testament of Maruti’s robust new EV infrastructure which is specifically designed to make long EV journeys seamless.
Maruti’s ‘E for Me’ App Test
The seamless experience was enhanced by Maruti’s in-house developed ‘e for me’ app, which acts like an assistant for the modern driver. This app is not just a regular navigation tool but a one-stop solution to check the bookings, foresee home charger status, and plan long trips with ease and precision.

During the drive, the app provided two routes for Jaipur, a faster 3.5-hour dash through the highway with limited chargers and a slightly longer route with tons of charging stations. Apart from navigation, it also provides details of amenities on the charging station like restrooms and Wi-Fi, and even allows the user to monitor the real-time status and review of DC fast chargers.
Maruti’s Developed Infrastructure across India
Apart from developing their electric lineup, Maruti also focussed on developing their charging network infrastructure by collaborating with 13 Charge Point Operators (CPOs), which have helped the company to successfully establish a network of 2,000 charging points across 1,100 cities.
Thus whether you are cruising on highways, or navigating through urban commutes, the e-Vitara ensures the user is never far from a charging point, thus making electric dreams a practical reality in today’s modern times.
