Mercedes AMG Teases a fresh Super Sedan, which could be the next version of the GT 4-Door.

The Performance Division of Mercedes-Benz AMG is developing a new sharp yet sporty super sedan that will compete with the likes of Audi e-Tron GT and Porsche Taycan.
The company has revealed its new offering and will be launching in the market soon. Key highlights include a sporty aerodynamic shaped design as well as high-tech electric powertrains.
New Sporty Design
Visually, the super sedan looks like a redesigned 4-Door GT as the company displayed a dark teaser image which displays the aerodynamic efficiency of the car as it features sharp styling and edges which will help it to give a sportier handling at high speeds.
The super sedan also houses a protruding nose section and sharp LED headlights. Other design highlights includes a rakish windscreen that runs through the roofline till the end of the car. The teaser image highlights powerful hindquarters and an expansive greenhouse panel.
Just when the teaser image got released, there were speculations among the automotive community about the possible launch of the next generation Mercedes AMG-GT 4-door EV.
AMG’s Latest Christened AMG Electric Architecture (AMG.EA)
The super sedan from Mercedes AMG will be built on the cutting-edge Christened AMG Electric Architecture, representing the brand's debut in dedicated electric vehicle platforms. Also called as AMG.EA, this platform will underpin the future electric cars from Mercedes Benz.
The company has claimed that their new platform will play an important role in designing an upcoming electric performance car that will serve as a technological marvel of advanced engineering, integrated with a blend of futuristic tech, thus making the car iconic, and that’s why the company is calling it a Super Sedan
Expected Launch
The German luxury car manufacturer has not revealed the exact technical specifications, and new technology coming with the car. But it is expected that the new GT 4-Door could come with an advanced yet powerful battery pack, and axial-flux motors, generating around 1,000 BHP of peak power, bringing this car into a superpower territory.
