River Mobility has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 50,000 units in production.

River Mobility has proudly surpassed the impressive mark of 50,000 units of its Indie electric scooter, all manufactured at its facility located in Hoskote, Karnataka, thus registering this record in less than three years after the model’s launch in October 2023.

River Mobility 50,000 Milestone Details 

The company has diversified its retail presence over more than 75 stores across the country. The vehicle and battery pack assembly are manufactured in the Hoskote facility. 

The Indie comes at a starting price of Rs 1.55 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Bengaluru) and has emerged as one of the most impressive growth milestones in India's electric scooter market over the past year. The scooter registered highest-ever monthly sales in June 2026 by selling 4,436 units in June 2026, which is up by 234% year-on-year (YoY). 

The current sales in CY2026 has accounted for more than 54% of all Indie retail sales since the model’s launch. Currently, River Mobility stands at the seventh position among electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India by monthly retail volumes. 

If we look at the River EV growth rate, it is on track to cross 50,000 annual retail sales for the first time in 2026.
