Servotech Renewable received a patent for its CCS2 technology designed for GB/T EV charging conversion.
Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd, which is an India-based EV charger manufacturer and renewable energy solutions provider has acquired a patent for their innovation called as “System and Method for Charging an Electric Vehicle.”
This technology integrates charging of GB/T-based electric vehicles equipped with CCS2 DC fast chargers, solving a critical issue as the industry has adopted CCS2 charging standards. This new device will act as a converter and will ensure a seamless connection between CCS2 charger and GB/T vehicles.
The company stated that the system has successfully undergone trials on selected GB/T equipped electric buses and commercial cabs. Currently, Servotech is working on deployment options with various fleet operators, public transport agencies and commercial charging networks.
