BGauss achieved its most successful year yet, with cumulative sales approaching 1 lakh units.

BGauss Auto has delivered an impressive 10,000 electric scooters across July and August, with 5,660 units sold in July, achieving the highest-ever monthly figure, followed by 5,045 units sold in August. The total retail sales stands at 91,373 units since its launch in August 2022, with 1 lakh sales milestone set to be achieved this year. 

BGauss Sales Details 

BGauss recently launched their flagship electric product, the C12 MaxR, which comes at a starting price of Rs 1.60 lakh (Ex-Showroom). The scooter comes powered by a hub-attached electric motor generating 4.2 kW of maximum power, enabling a claimed top speed of 75 km/hr. 

The C12 MaxR comes equipped with a 3.8 kWh LFP battery pack  offering a claimed IDC range of 178 Km. BGauss claims that the electric scooter has a lifespan of 1.5 lakh Km. 

If we analyse at this price point, the C12 MaxR faces stiff competition with mid and upper variants of the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Ather Rizta, which is the highest selling electric scooters in India. BGauss has also expanded its product lineup by introducing a four-model portfolio including RUV 350, Oowah, C12 Max, and C12 MaxR, available at a price range above Rs 1 lakh. 

Thus, with the current sales volume, BGauss is expected to deliver 46,000 - 47,000 units in 2026, which will be its best-ever annual sales figure.
