Hyundai Motor and Shell have renewed their strategic partnership to enhance future mobility solutions.
Hyundai Motor Company has extended their strategic alliance with Shell Lubricants by 2031 with a focus on solidifying the future mobility solutions. Both companies have renewed their 5-year Global Business Cooperation Agreement, thus building a strategic relationship which has 20 years of togetherness since 2005.

This new agreement states that both companies will be working on new initiatives specifically focused on future mobility though expanded joint research and development (R&D), service marketing, and motorship partnerships.
The Senior Vice President and Head of Global Service Sub-Division at Hyundai Motor Company, Beom Seok Kang, also expressed his views on this and said, “We are pleased to extend this long partnership with Shell. With our helpful aftersales service marketing over the past years has successfully enhanced global aftersales service and improved customer satisfaction.”

What Areas will be the Alliance Working on?
Hyundai Motor and Shell will be together focussing upon multiple areas of the automotive domain. These companies will be organising joint service marketing campaigns in order to increase the customer satisfaction on an international level.
Apart from this, they will be working on the joint research and development towards next-generation mobility solutions. Key R&D activities include enhanced engine oil quality and advanced fluids and coolant specifically for electric vehicles.
