Mahindra has Updated its Policy Regarding EV Chargers

Mahindra has just revised their policies for EV chargers by making the charger and installation optional for BE 6 and XEV 9e SUVs under several conditions.
Earlier, it was mandatory for Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 buyers to purchase a company-supplied charger, but the company has now made it optional for the buyers, under three important conditions:
Conditions
-
Your home or office should have appropriate provisions for a private charger.
-
You are already having a charger that is according to Mahindra’s safety parameters.
-
For families buying 2 or more Mahindra electric SUVs, 1 charging point is enough.
For other cars, Mahindra will continue to sell a 7.2 kW AC charger for Rs 50,000 and a 11.2 kW AC charger for Rs 75,000, which is mandatory to be brought with the electric SUVs.
