Tata Harrier EV – The Exciting New Arrival Packed with Intelligent Features and AWD Capability

The Harrier EV is all set to launch in India. The Harrier EV was first displayed at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025, and later at the EV day, Tata showcased the SUV to the media and dealers. Tata’s Harrier could be in the list of 10 electric cars that the manufacturer is planning to launch till the end of 2025. Here is the list of features that are expected to feature in the new Tata Harrier EV 2025.
A Complete AWD Setup
Users always criticized the Harrier for being a FWD SUV, as it had loads of potential for being an ideal off-roader, however Tata Motors have taken this into consideration and the new Harrier is expected to be the first vehicle from Tata to come with an AWD setup.
Tata Motors has defined their AWD as QWD (Quad Wheel Drive), while there is no official confirmation whether Tata will be featuring the Harrier with four motors (one on each wheel) or two motors (one motor on each axle).
The company has confirmed that Harrier EV will have an AWD setup, so it would be interesting to see in what configuration it will come with.
Updated Feature List
The Tata Harrier EV will be the first SUV of the carmaker to come with the brand's upgraded technological features. Not much has been revealed about the Harrier’s feature list, but some features will be the highlight in the Harrier EV.
SUMMON MODE: The Tata Harrier EV will be featuring a SUMMON Mode, which gives the ability to the vehicle to track back its moment to a certain distance remotely, This will be a special feature as it allows the Harrier EV to backtrack its movement even on hilly and twisty roads.
More additional features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, panoramic sunroof, and ventilated seats. It will also be equipped with some premium features such as dual-zone climate control and a powered tailgate.
Enhanced Performance and Superior Hardware
There is a speculation that Tata wants to position the Harrier EV as a sporty SUV, and to achieve that Tata will be powering the Harrier EV with a 520 Nm of mighty torque, while the hardware will be upgraded with a new getmulti-link rear suspension.
This extra torque will give a stronger acceleration as demanded by users in this segment, while the getmulti-link rear suspension will help to improve the ride quality of the SUV, to give a premium experience out on the highways.
