TVS Orbiter Electric Scooter Debuts at EICMA 2026: Specs, Range & EU Launch
TVS Motors has unveiled its European-spec TVS Orbiter at EICMA 2026 organised in Milan, in order to enhance frequent city commutes. Let’s break down what makes this sleek electric scooter a perfect choice for your daily commutes.
TVS European-Spec Orbiter Battery & Range
The Orbiter is developed specifically for everyday city commutes and comes with an option of a smaller 1.8 kWh battery or a larger 3.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Thus it provides a highly practical WLTP range of 70 Km to 105 Km on a single charge.
It comes with a claimed top-speed of 45 km/hr, which is ideal for city runs. TVS has also used fully removable batteries, which means you can easily pull them out and plug them into a standard household socket using a 550 W off-board charger, providing 0-80% charge in just 2 hours and 39 minutes.

TVS Orbiter Design
The Orbiter is designed with an upright riding posture with a highly accessible 760 mm seat height and wide handlebars that provide a relaxed natural feel, whether you are hopping across the town or taking a longer route.
Visually, it is stunning in design as it comes with a colour option of Lunar Grey and Stratos Blue. The scooter features clean, aerodynamic lines integrated by Crystal LED lighting. It also comes with a highly practical 34-litre under-seat storage compartment, which is more than enough for your essentials. Additional features include cruise control and smart on-board LTE connectivity.
When Can You Ride One?
TVS has analysed millions of kilometers of real-world EV data and conducted more than 600 structural stress tests to ensure the reliability of the scooter. It is slated for EU type approval in 2027 and is currently garnering attention at Fiera Milano.
