Ultraviolette X47 Design
This electric motorcycle is the final production variant of the Concept X motorcycle, which was showcased at EICMA 2024. The X47 underpins the same platform used by the popular F77 Mach 2 electric sportsbike.
However, the company has taken a different approach by differentiating this motorcycle from its fully faired sportsbike format and has entered a new territory of electric adventure tourer segment, following a more rugged design language.
Visually, it comes equipped with a single-piece handlebar placed above triangular headlamps featuring a sharp front beak and a touring windscreen, complimented by sculpted tank extensions on both sides. However, the battery pack is compactly placed underneath, protected by a crash guard.
Ultraviolette X47 Advanced Control Systems
The X47 boasts an extensive list of advanced tech suite, which comprises integrated dashcams placed at the both ends of the motorcycle, which continually monitors the bike by video recording.
This electric adventurer’s power can be extracted via four traction modes such as T1, T2, T3, and OFF, followed by a dual-channel ABS system, which can be also switched from the rear, which leads to controlled slides.
Apart from this, Ultraviolette has added 9 levels of regenerative braking which is integrated with a coordination system that strikes a perfect balance between ABS and regen to provide stability under heavy braking, especially on long highway rides. There are also connected features on offer, controlled via Violette AI which provides features like remote vehicle diagnostics, ride data monitoring, and OTA software updates.
Ultraviolette X47 Hypersense Radar Functions
The X47 is powered by a radar unit placed at the rear, called dubbed Hypersense, which features a 150-degree horizontal and 68-degree vertical field of view, with a significant tracking range of up to 200 meters. This system provides the users with advanced functionalities such as Object Detection and Adaptive Detection on the basis of roll, pitch, and lean angles.
It also enables the rider with blind-spot detection and provides overtake alerts, lane change assistance, and rear collision detections.
