Kia provides a warranty on the high-voltage battery for 8 years or 1,60,000 km, whichever comes first. The comprehensive warranty covers protection of batteries against defects in materials or workmanship that affects the overall performance of batteries supporting both 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs.
It also comes with a general vehicle warranty of 3 years and unlimited kilometers and is also available with an additional 5th year extended warranty and 3 years of 24/7 roadside assistance. Thus this extended warranty is provided for long term peace of mind, ensuring proper health of batteries for a longer time.
