Vida Electric has introduced exciting benefits of up to Rs 40,000 on their V2 electric scooters, only if the customer buys them from Flipkart or Amazon. The shopping websites are offering various bank discounts, EMIs, cashback and GST benefits.

The Vida V2 Lite is positioned in the affordable two wheeler segment. Powered by a 2.2 kWh battery, it provides a decent range of 94 Km (IDC) on full charge. This model is a fresh update in the Vida lineup, complimenting the Plus and Pro versions.

The V2 Lite has a top speed of 69 Km/h and gets two riding modes: Ride and Eco, the overall specifications are similar as compared to the pricier models, which includes addition of 7-inch TFT touchscreen display.

V2 Plus & Pro: The V2 plus is equipped with a bigger 3.44 kWh battery, providing a range of 143 Km. The V2 Pro gets an even bigger 3.94 kWh battery, offering a maximum range of 165 Km on a single charge. Both models in the V2 lineup get removable batteries, which can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in around 6 hours.

Vida V2 Specifications

The Vida V2 is integrated with a PMS motor, which generates 6 kW (8 Bhp) and produces a maximum torque of 26 Nm. Both the V2 Plus and Pro models come with four riding modes for different terrains: Eco, Ride, Sport, and Custom.

The top speed of V2 Plus is rated at 85 Km/h, while the Pro can achieve a top speed of 90 Km/h.

V2 Design

Visually, the design of the scooter is tweaked a bit to give a modern touch, as the Vida V2 gives a striking resemblance to the V1 electric scooter. It also comes with two new colour options: Matte Nexus Blue-Grey and Glossy Sports Red, to enhance the looks and overall design.

It also comes with additional features such as regenerative braking, cruise control, keyless entry, and other functions. Hero also has provided a network of 3,100 charging stations nationwide, which are situated in more than 250 cities.

WARRANTY: Hero provides a standard warranty of 5 years or 50,000 Km, whichever comes first, whereas the battery comes under a warranty of 3 years or 30,000 Km, whichever comes first.

V2 Competition

The Vida V2 competes with Rizta, iQube, and Chetak, however the V2 will also face stiff competition with Ampere Nexus and the recently launched Honda Activa, which comes with swappable batteries.
