Lexus New ES 500e Price Revealed | Launched at Rs 89.99 lakh
Lexus has rolled out its first electric automobile, the new ES electric version, with a price tag of Rs 89.99 lakh (ex-showroom), representing the brand's initial foray into the Indian electric car arena. However, apart from the fully-electric 500e, the ES will be also available with a hybrid powertrain (350h).
The new ES 500e is underpinned by the TNGA-K platform with the Toyota Camry. The eight-generation of the Lexus sedan will be complimented by all-new design, equipment and various new powertrain options with the EV.
Lexus ES 500e Launch Price India 2026
The electric version of the ES 500e is available at an introductory price of Rs 89.99 lakh. Talking about the battery, the Lexus first all-electric model ES 500e dual-motor AWD is powered by a 74.68 kWh battery pack that sends power to two electric motors (one on each axle), integrated with all-wheel drive.

The claimed range for the Lexus 500e stands at 580 Km on a single charge and will be coming with a 11 kW AC home charger. According to the company, using a fast 150 kW DC fast charger, the battery can accelerate from 10-80% in just 28 minutes. Lexus will be also offering a standard battery warranty of 8-year or 2,00,000 km, whichever comes first.
Lexus ES 500e Design
Visually, the 2026 Lexus ES 500e follows the ‘Provocative Simplicity’ design approach, displayed at the LF-ZC concept. This provides the ES a new face combining a face nose with coupe-like roofline and angular creases integrated into the bodywork.
The front face gets a sealed-off look and is equipped with ‘twin L-signature’ lamps that are the part of car’s daytime running lights (DRLs). At the rear, the 2026 Lexus ES also features the unique ‘twin L-signature’ lamps at the edge of the bumper with a connected LED light bar branded with ‘LEXUS’ lettering at the center.

Lexus ES 500e Variants Price and Features
The Lexus ES gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster placed into the carved-out portion placed behind the steering wheel and a 14-inch central infotainment screen. Other features include powered front seats with heating and ventilation, 3-zone Automatic A/C, heads-up display, digital IRVM, multi-colour ambient lighting, rear window sunshades, and power-operated bootlid.
