Ather has Launched new Rizta S scooter at a price of Rs 1,37,047

Ather Energy has introduced a new model of Rizta S electric scooter equipped with a substantial 3.7 kWh battery pack. With this configuration, the Rizta S will provide a significant range of 159 Km on a single charge. Ather has priced the Rizta S at an introductory price of Rs 1,37,047 (Ex-Showroom) Delhi. The deliveries for the electric scooter will be scheduled in July 2025. 

Ather introduced the Rizta series of electric scooters in 2024 as Ather is focussed on catering the needs of urban commuters. The company claims that Rizta contributes more than 60% of its total sales and has crossed the 1 Lakh sales units from launch. The bigger 3.7 kWh battery pack provides a variety in Rizta series to four options, thus providing a variety of range options for customers. 

The Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, Ravneet S. Phokela, expressed his views on the launch and said, “The Rizta has made a deep connection with Indian families across the country and crossed the sales milestone of 1 lakh Rizta scooters, which signifies the rising demand, which Rizta has captured in the segment. 

As we are diversifying our portfolio by fulfilling consumer needs, we are excited to introduce our popular Rizta S with a bigger battery pack, providing a substantial 159 Km on a single charge, thus eradicating the range anxiety among the users and enabling them to extract the maximum potential from their Rizta S. 

Ather Rizta S Practical Features

The Rizta S provides a variety of practical features such as a big 34-Litre underseat storage, which can be further extended by 22 litres through the addition of an accessory called Frunk. In terms of dimensions, the scooter gets the same seat size, and floorboard layout. 

Ather states that the new scooter is gone through quality checks to ensure quality standards according to their earlier scooters. 

Ather Rizta S Features

The Rizta S gets an option of a bigger 3.7 kWh battery pack and comes with variety of features such as 7-inch DeepViewTM display which provides seamless navigation and other functionalities such as AutoHoldTM, Fall Safe, Emergency Stop Signal, Tow and Theft Alerts, Find My Scooter, and Alexa skills with over-the-air software updates. 

Ather has also provided various charging options for the Rizta which provides access to the Ather Grid charging network with a chain of more than 3,900 public charging points in India, as well as establishing a home charging unit. 

Ather provides the ‘Eight70’ warranty scheme for their users which gives them the warranty cover of up to 8 years or 80,000 Km, with a battery guarantee of minimum 70%.In Mumbai, the Rizta S costs Rs 1,37,258, while in Bangalore it is Rs 1,37,999, and in Chennai, it is Rs 1,39,312. It is important to note that all prices mentioned above are Ex-showroom prices of respective cities.
