Vinfast and AutoBrains are partnering together to develop Autonomous Driving Tech & entry-level Robo-Car.
Vinfast has announced its strategic alliance with AutoBrains for the research and development of L2++ autonomous technologies for upcoming VinFast electric vehicles. The current portfolio of Vinfast comes with Level 2 driving assistance features. However, the L2++ system is currently under pilot testing for the VF8 and VF9 models.
This strategic alliance will strengthen the autonomous capabilities of Vinfast across its product lineup, thus implementing the company's commitment to deliver smart and advanced mobility solutions to customers across the globe.
Vinfast AutoBrains Strategic Partnership
The partnership will be also focusing towards developing “Robo-Car” system, which is a state-of-the-art AI architecture that eradicates the dependencies of LiDAR, radar or HD maps.

Apart from this, the system comes with seven standard cameras integrated with high-performance computing chips, which has the capability of processing 20 trillion operations per second, ensuring advanced operation at marginal cost without using the complex conventional systems.
Robo-Car System Powered by AutoBrains
The Robo-Car system which is developed in-house by Autobrains Agentic AI architecture which is based on real-time driving conditions and reacts with humanlike precision without the need of costly softwares.
Autobrains has integrated Air-to-Road localization and a camera-based mapping technology that combines real-time visual data with satellite imagery, which is a perfect yet affordable alternative to the costly Level 4 ADAS in emerging and advanced markets.
Vinfast and Autobrains are jointly testing their Robo-Car in restricted areas in Hanoi, with plans to expand numerous trials to larger metro cities and global markets.
