Vinfast has introduced the VF 7 in India, with prices beginning at Rs 20.89 lakh.

Apart from VF6, Vinfast has introduced their flagship electric SUV, VF7 in the Indian market at an introductory price of Rs 20.89 Lakh-Rs 25.49 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). The Vietnamese manufacturer has positioned this SUV above VF6 and it will be competing with the likes of Creta Electric, and Harrier EV. 

The company is also providing a specific 10-year or 2,00,000 Km warranty specifically tailored to the VF 7. Now let’s discuss the specific variants and technical specifications of the VF7 electric SUV.

Vinfast is also providing free charging at their exclusive VGreens chargers up to July 2028, followed by free maintenance for 3 years and free curtains for the panoramic sunroof which is standard across the range. 

2025 Vinfast VF7 Design 

Visually, the VF7 is designed like a modern SUV incorporating Vinfast’s classic signature ‘V Face’ and features LED DRLs up front and LED headlights which are placed below the DRLs. The front bumper is developed to give a concave design and air dams coming with brush metal trims. 

Looking at the side, the VF7 looks like a muscular SUV all thanks to surfacing which runs across the body. It also features flush door handles which provides a clean look to the sculpted door handles. For India, Vinfast will be providing 19-inch wheels for the VF7, with an enhanced ground clearance of 190 mm. 

The rear design is complimented with slim windscreen and connected LED tail-lamps which are placed in a vertical orientation, thus giving a unique look, when viewed from the back. However, the indicators at the back are located horizontally finished with clear glass.

To provide a premium look to the interiors, Vinfast has offered a pure vegan leather upholstery, 12.9-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charger, large fixed glass roof, dual-zone climate control, front ventilated seats, with reclined functionality also. 

However, the company has provided limited physical buttons as most functions are controlled by the main 12.9-inch screen only, that’s tilted towards the driver. One thing which we found shocking was that there was no traditional driver’s display provided in other cars and instead the company has provided a heads-up display, a major cost cutting!!

The features of the VF7 depends on which variant you are choosing. The company is targeting a 5-star Bharat NCAP crash test safety rating for the VF7 and VF6. Safety features include 7 airbags as standard, radar-based ADAS suite with Level 2 features.
