The Ather 450 Apex now features Cruise Control.

The Ather Community Day 2025 made a series of announcements and important upgrades including the glimpse of the EL01 concept, the new EL Platform, and the Redux concept, followed by an advanced software update. However, with these upgrades, Ather also added some new features in their existing Ather 450 Apex, which includes addition of an innovative cruise control.
Ather Infinite Cruise Details
Ather defines this new feature as Infinite Cruise, as it has been developed exclusively for Indian road conditions and incorporates three specific systems integrated for better user controls.
CityCruise: This mode can be turned on from as low speeds of 10 Km/hr and unlike traditional cruise controls, it does not disengage after applying brakes or continuous speed changes. On the other hand, it intelligently adjusts to the changed speed of the scooter after braking.
Hill Control: What this mode does is it seamlessly handles the torque delivery especially on hill climbs and uses regenerative braking while descending to regulate on steady speeds.
Crawl Control: This mode maintains a constant speed of 10 km/hr on rough surfaces and sync with traction control for extra stability at low speeds.
According to Ather, the Infinite Cruise control feature is only available to the top-spec Apex variant and will not be identical to other models in the lineup. The 450 Apex is completely different from the 450X as it includes various premium features such as inclusion of a Warp+ mode and features transparent panels.
These features make it a premium offering for the users and is positioned as a flagship model in Ather’s portfolio. In terms of powertrains, the 450 Apex is powered by the same 7kW motor and 3.7 kWh battery pack. The flagship model is available at an introductory price at Rs 1.89 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
