Delhi EV Revolution 2026: 500 New Electric Buses Launched | 4,000+ EV Fleet
The Delhi EV Revolution 2026 has been implemented with widespread adoption of electric vehicles as the city has witnessed a launch of 500 electric buses which is a big step towards accelerating EV adoption in India.
Achieving 4,000+ Milestone
The Chief Minister of Delhi has enhanced the Delhi Transportation Corporations (DTC) for achieving the 4,000 milestone. This transition is a big step towards electrifying the daily commute with less noise, zero carbon emissions, and a comfortable ride experience.
It will be significantly reducing the city’s pollution levels, ensuring that public transport can also be transformed in order to provide clean air.

Vision 2028: India’s Biggest EV Network
The EV revolution is not completed yet as the administration has set a vision of deploying 14,000 electric buses by 2028. This will further establish Delhi as India’s largest electric public transport network, thus setting the stage for Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
The real EV revolution will be achieved only when there is an increase in private EV adoption with a developed public infrastructure. Thus the future of Delhi is clear, it’s not just moving, but it’s moving electrically.
