Audi Expands Electric Vehicle Charging Network with Over 6,500 Sites Throughout India.

Audi India has announced its milestone of setting up more than 6,500 charging points across India, which comes under Audi’s ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative. 

The company has integrated with 16 new partners to increase luxury EV adoption in the country, with more than 75% of the locations equipped with DC fast-charging technology, to meet the increasing need for EV charging in India.

‘Charge My Audi’ Initiative

Audi’s visionary ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative in the Phase-II expansion has added more than 5,500 new charging points in different locations across the country, including highways, malls, and commercial places. 

Audi India has a strategic alliance with 16 new EV infrastructure providers to enhance the network, which involves seamless integration of advanced features such as real-time charger availability, route planning, and easy start/stop through the ‘myAudi Connect’ app. 

With these additional networks, ‘Charge My Audi’ ensures connectivity across 28 states and union territories, covering 850+ cities and 4,700+ locations. 

The Head of Audi India, Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, expressed his views during the announcement- “As electric vehicle adoption in India is rising at a rapid scale, developing a robust charging infrastructure is crucial, and with more than 6,500 charging stations throughout India, primarily emphasizing DC fast chargers, we are enhancing convenience, shortening charging durations, and boosting accessibility for our customers.

The second phase of ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative has brought a revolution in enhancing the EV ownership experience. Our partners continue to play a vital role in this journey, and we are looking forward to introducing advanced technologies to seamlessly integrate towards electric mobility together.”

With the success of Phase-II, Audi has provided free access to their charging services exclusively for their e-tron customers, until December 31, 2025. This will increase the accessibility for the e-tron customers and will allow them to enjoy free charging across Audi’s extensive network of chargers, which can be seamlessly done via the ‘myAudi Connect’ application.
