BMW Group India has recorded a milestone to become the first luxury car manufacturer in the country to register more than 5,000 EV deliveries, providing its leadership in the luxury EV segment. Apart from this milestone, the company is also successful in launching a 4,000 Km Charging Corridor, which ensures seamless connectivity of DC fast chargers. 

This corridor is expanded through important routes which includes Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Hubballi, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Madurai, as this network ensures a superior connectivity to DC fast chargers, which just eradicates the range anxiety and boost confidence among EV owners for long highway trips, connecting major cities of India. 

BMW Charging Point Network 

BMW Group India now provides access to more than 6,000 charging points across the country, which is possible via the company's alliances with key partners, and a dedicated network of roughly 300 BMW Destination Chargers can be found at various hotels, resorts, and shopping malls.

BMW’s combined home charger installation integrated with the brand's in-house developed smart e-routing software and a strong aftersales service helps in the formation of one of the most extensive EV infrastructures in India. 

The President and CEO of BMW Group India conveyed his delight regarding the company's success, which embodies BMW's vision of integrating luxury with efficiency and sustainability by aiming for zero net carbon emissions.

He further added, “This is not just a sales number, but a testament to our state-of-the-art technology in the e-mobility, which is leading to a huge transition towards electric mobility, and with our fully developed corridor, our customers can enjoy their electric cars with sheer driving pleasure even on long highway trips, without the fear of range anxiety.”

BMW’s EV lineup in India consists of iX1 Long Wheelbase, i7, i5, i4, MINI Countryman E, and electric scooters including CE 04 and CE 02, which continues to generate strong demand. Discussing the sales numbers, in the first half of 2025, BMW experienced an impressive increase of 234% in electric vehicle sales, with electric models accounting for 18% of overall sales.

Thus BMW’s smart strategy of boosting their sales figures and development of their dedicated Charging Corridor has made them reach at the pinnacle of luxury EV manufacturing in India. BMW Group India is now redefining their role as the leader in luxury electric mobility and working towards adoption of EVs in the country.
