BMW iX1 Battery Warranty

BMW provides a comprehensive warranty on the iX1’s high-voltage battery warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km, whichever comes first. This warranty covers protection against defects which includes significant capacity loss in order to ensure that the battery is functional and working properly. 

The warranty coverage guarantees that the battery capacity should not drop below a certain level (around 70-80%) during the warranty period. However, buyers should ensure that the battery must be maintained according to BMW’s instructions and is recommended to service the vehicle at authorized BMW service centers. This warranty can also be further extended for up to 10 years.
