The bookings are now officially open and deliveries have started. However, the prices for the facelifted Taycan were revealed last year but the EV sportscar was available in only 4S and Turbo variants.
Price range for the 2025 Porsche Taycan
The entry of Taycan RWD has made the pricing more diverse, making the model more affordable as the RWD model costs 24 Lakh less than the Taycan 4S and around 87 lakhs cheaper than the Turbo.
NOTE: Taycan is also available in Turbo S and Turbo GT models in the international markets, however Porsche has not confirmed their arrival in India, nor does we get the Taycan Cross Turismo estate variant.

Porsche Taycan RWD: Overview of Range, Battery, and Specifications
Porsche has officially confirmed that the new Taycan RWD will be powered by a 89 kWh battery pack, which is significantly smaller than the 105 kWh battery pack, powering the 4S and Turbo on sale in India.
Range: The Porsche RWD has a WLTP range of 503-590 Km on a single charge, which is less than 4S’s range of 549-642 Km. However, the Porsche RWD sold in the international markets is equipped with a Performance Battery Plus Form, which gets a bigger 105 kWh battery and a healthy 678 Km of Range.
POWER: The Taycan RWD with the 89 kWh battery generates 408 HP of power and produces 410 Nm of torque on the rear wheels, in comparison to the 4S which comes with a 517 Hp (598 Hp with the OverBoost function) and 695 Nm of peak torque paired with a dual motor setup.
Porsche has claimed a 0-100kph time of 4.8 seconds and a registered top speed of 230kph for the entry-level Taycan.

800V Architecture Platform
The Taycan RWD also supports 800V architecture that provides fast charging tech, to give a better understanding of this system, the 800V can give a significant range of 272 Km in just 10 minutes of charge at 270kW charging speed. With the correct power supply, the 89 kWh battery can be charged from 10-80% in just 18 minutes.
Porsche also provides a 11kW on-board AC charger that takes approximately 9 hours to charge the battery from 0-100%. The international models come with a capacity of up to 320 kW.
