Mahindra XEV 9S Design & Platform
Visually, The XEV 9S feels like an upgrade over the XEV 9e’s coupe look and brings back the traditional SUV look of the XUV700 with sophisticated evolution. Underpinned by the INGLO platform, it adds to the Born EV highlights such as the 150-Litre frunk.
It is massive, fully packed and even features a drainage system which is perfect for storing charging cables or even a small bag. The XEV 9S also features a total of 12 sensors (6 front, 6 rear) and an advanced radar system equipped with ADAS Level 2 functionality.

It also comes with aerodynamic 18-inch alloy wheels and includes sleek connected LED lighting specifically designed for style and enhanced range.
Mahindra XEV 9S Triple Screen Interior
On the inside, the cabin of the XEV 9S is designed like a tech lounge. However, one of the interesting highlights of the interior is the triple 10.25-screen arrangement on the dashboard. The best part is that Mahindra is also offering the same setup in the base variant as well.
The top of the line “Pack 3 Above” variant is where you are treated with utmost luxury. The XEV 9S comes equipped with a 16-speaker Harmon sound system, A Head-Up-Display, and integrated memory functions for both driver as well as co-driver.

The top models also come with capacitive touch buttons on the steering wheel, while the lower models get physical buttons, which are more practical to use in daily lives.
Mahindra XEV 9S Performance, Battery & Range
Mahindra has provided a diverse range of powertrain options with the XEV 9S, as it comes with an option of three battery pack options.
- 59 kWh (Standard): Claimed range of 500+ km.
- 70 kWh (Mid-range).
- 79 kWh (Long-range): Claimed range of 600+ km
POWER: The Mahindra XEV 9S generates a torque output of 380 Nm with an estimated real-world range of 444 Km at 92% battery, proving that it can deliver more than 500 Km of range can be achieved in real world conditions specifically for the top variant.

Segment-First Comfort in the Back
Sitting at the back of the XEV 9S is a treat for rear passengers as this is the first car in this segment which offers ventilated rear seats for the second row. There is also a lot of flexibility on offer as users have the access to slide and recline the seats in order to provide more space and create a “boss mode” experience.
It also comes with a 65W fast-charging port specifically for laptops and tablets. The third row is strictly limited for kids as it also gets dedicated AC vents with fan speed control, making it an ideal 7-seater family SUV.
