Mahindra to introduce XEV 9S 7-Seater EV on November 27.
Mahindra is all set to share a glimpse of its upcoming 7-seater EV called XEV 9S on November 27, 2025. It will be an exclusive 7-seater SUV engineered on the INGLO skateboard platform, which also underpins the XEV 9e and BE 6.
Mahindra XEV 9S Highlights
The XEV 9S is a pure-electric SUV, and apart from being based on the same platform of the XEV 9e, the company has not revealed any other details yet. However, it is expected that this EV could be the electric version of the popular XUV 700 electric prototype (also called as the XEV 7e), which has been spied testing multiple times.
In this scenario, the upcoming XEV 9S could take design inspiration from the prototype. These design inserts include connected LED daytime running lights (DRLs), blanked-off grille, and dual pod LED headlights present in the XEV 9e.
The XEV 9S could also share interior with the XEV 9e’s 3-screen setup and steering wheel, as provided by various spy shots of the car.
