BMW Vision CE Patented in India | Self Balancing Electric Scooter
The German manufacturer, BMW has registered for a design patent for its radical Vision CE electric scooter concept, which means that the Indian market is ready for the next big electric mobility revolution. The Vision CE was first unveiled at IAA Mobility 2025 as a concept vehicle showcasing BMW’s vision of electric urban mobility.
BMW Vision CE Concept Self-Balancing Technology
One of the major highlights of the concept is its smart self-balancing technology. What it does is it keeps the vehicle perfectly upright by switching to the onboard tech, when the scooter comes to a complete standstill.
This technology is super useful in heavy stop-and-go traffic, as it provides the convenience of never having to put your feet down and is quite revolutionary.

BMW Vision CE Concept Design
The design is also innovative as the Vision CE is built around a robust metal tubular cage specifically designed to enhance the safety cell of the rider. BMW has also added a four-point seatbelt, which increases the safety standards allowing drivers to remove their helmets and heavy riding gear completely.
If this comes to the production vehicle, it will be a resemblance to BMW’s iconic C1 scooter, released 25 years ago.
BMW Vision CE Concept Battery
BMW has not revealed exact battery specifications, while simply describing it as “Emission-free electric drive” - The design language telling a story. The scooter will be coming with a long-wheelbase and a distinct low-slung profile that is similar to the BMW CE 04.
If we talk about the launch, BMW Motorrad has not commented on the availability of Vision CE in global markets.
