The 2025 BMW CE 04 has been teased prior to its launch. Discover the details.

BMW Motorrad is all set to introduce their state-of-the-art new CE 04 electric scooter on July 3. BMW has posted a teaser image which reveals the glimpse of the electric scooter presented in matte blue colour shade. However, the company has not shed a light on official details, but the teaser has fueled a lot of speculations and new technology coming with the scooter.
The CE 04 was launched globally in 2022, but officially launched in India in 2024 at an ex-showroom price of Rs 15.25 Lakh. Let’s examine the design and technical specifications of the CE 04 electric scooter in detail.
2025 BMW CE 04 Updated Design
The CE 04 was acknowledged for its innovative design and unique styling and the new model has just incorporated the original DNA of the scooter. The matte blue colour displayed in the teaser might be a new colour scheme option that BMW will be introducing to bring a flavour of freshness to the CE 04 electric scooter.
However it is not clear whether the new scooter will feature significant bodywork detailing or subtle design tweaks. If we look at the current CE 04, it comes with a low-slung profile, and features a sharp design with angular curves and a flat seat which is elongated.
However we think that it should be more of an evolution rather than a revolution in design, as the BMW should retain the original essence of the design, for which the CE 04 is known for. Thus they could add new trims and specific changes in the personalization.
2025 BMW CE 04 New Features
The CE 04 is equipped with cutting-edge technology and boasts advanced features, and BMW might expand the current list of features even more. The current version features LED lighting, keyless start, and a reverse gear. It is also equipped with a stunning 10.25-inch TFT screen which is present at the center of the dash.
The screen displays important information like providing GPS navigation, smartphone integration, and real-time ride and charging data to track the performance of the scooter. The current model also gets three riding modes suitable for different terrains, these modes are further classified as Eco, Rain, and Road.
Apart from this, BMW has also provided exclusive package options to enhance the feature list, which can be individually purchased by the user for added functionalities like heated grips, a backrested seat for better comfort, adaptive headlamps, and additional comfort and handling customization options.
2025 BMW CE 04 Technical Specification
In terms of powertrains, the CE 04 will come with the same setup from the current version as it will be powered by the same tried and tested liquid-cooled electric motor generating 41 BHP of peak power and 62 Nm of mighty torque, as these numbers can make the CE 04 achieve 0-50 Km/hr sprint in just 2.6 seconds.
It has an electronically controlled top speed of 120 Km/hr, which is achieved by a substantial 8.5 kWh battery pack on offer, which provides a claimed range of 130 Km on a single charge.
Talking about the suspension, the scooter is underpinned by a double-loop steel frame and houses a single-bridge telescopic fork suspension at the front and a single-sided swingarm with direct suspension attached to the rear for better dynamics. The CE 04 features 265 mm disc brakes present at both ends which ensure superior stopping power with a grip from 15-inch wheels.
2025 BMW CE 04 Expected Price and Launch
As the global introduction of the scooter is set for July 3, it is expected that the prices will be set a bit higher than the current model. In India, the scooter was unveiled last year with a premium price of Rs 15.25 Lakh (Ex-Showroom).
With the slighter advancements, BMW Motorrad is all set to solidify the CE 04 in the segment by updating its design and adding modern elements, revising the feature list and adding new technology and upgrading its efficiency to make it a reliable product.
