BYD Atto 3 Maintenance Costs and Expenses 2026

The Atto 3 is one of the first electric cars to be launched by BYD and it comes powered with a 49.92 kWh and a bigger 60.48 kWh Blade battery packed with LFP technology, providing a certified range of 521 km on a single charge. The maintenance cost of BYD Atto 3 ranges between Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000.

As compared to ICE cars, the Atto 3 has low maintenance costs as it requires no oil changes or spark plug replacements and also gets benefits from three free services.

BYD Atto 3 Service Schedule and Cost Breakdown

The BYD Atto 3 battery & major maintenance is required after every 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first. Although some regions have updated this to 2 years or 30,000 km. The first service is basically a checkup of the car as comprehensive maintenance is important to maintain the warranty.

Annual Maintenance: it includes detailed inspection of the battery, brake system, and cabin filters. However, the brake fluid is inspected at every service and replaced if necessary or if brake pads are worn out.

There is also a need to replace the long-acting organic acid coolant every 4 years or 1,00,000 km, whichever comes first. The 12V battery also requires to be monitored or replaced every 18-24 months.
