BYD Atto 3 Real-World Range Test Explained
The BYD Atto 3 is the first electric car to be launched in India by the Chinese manufacturer. It comes powered with a 49.92 kWh (Dynamic) and the substantial 60.48 kWh (Premium/Superior) battery packs. We recently had a talk with the owner who put the BYD Atto 3 performance in actual use in order to know the exact real-world range he is able to extract with the Atto 3.
According to the user, the Atto 3 provided a real-world range between 450-470 Km in mixed driving conditions. The user did a real-world range test as he did frequent runs at the highway and city limits in order to extract the favourable range on a single charge.

During the range test, the user was able to extract an impressive real-world range of 467 Km. As per the user, the BYD Atto 3 can easily provide more than 400 km of highway range from the Atto 3, so no more range anxiety on the Atto 3. The user shared his charging data and as per his tests, the 7 kW of home charging support, it takes a long time of 9.5 to 10 hours so addition of a 11 kW Home charger could be a nice upgrade for faster yet seamless home charging.
