BYD Sealion 7 SUV Launched at 48.90 Lakhs: Variants Explained

BYD India has just launched the Sealion 7 SUV at a starting price of Rs 48.90 Lakhs. It is BYD’s fourth offering in India after the eMax 7, Atto 3, and Seal. The Sealion 7 is coming with two models: Premium and Performance. The premium comes at a cost of Rs 48.90 Lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Performance costs at Rs 54.90 Lakhs. 

The deliveries for the same starts on March 7, 2025. The Sealion 7 will be coming with similar features and batteries, except the drivetrain configurations. 

Sealion 7 Battery and Performance

The Sealion 7 comes with a 82.56 kWh BYD Blade battery, which gives a certified range of 567 Km for the Premium variant and 542 Km for the Performance variant. The premium model can go from 0-100 in 6.7 seconds and the 4.5 seconds for the performance model.

POWER: The premium model produces 308.43 BHP of power and 380 Nm of torque, but the performance generates 522 BHP of Power and 690 Nm of torque with an increased power and speed.
