ChargeZone and Tata.ev have partnered together to launch a co-branded Mega Charging hub at Khalpur, situated on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The hub is located at a food mall along the main highway.

ChargeZone and Tata.ev Strategic Alliance

Tata launched Mega Charging hubs in 2025 in order to diversify the EV charging infrastructure across highway and urban areas. The Khalpur hub supports 720 kW of power and is the 75th site developed under the joint alliance between ChargeZone and Tata.ev. As per the official statement, the partnership will be installing more than 100 such hubs across the national highways.

The widespread expansion of charging infrastructure in urban areas will further encourage intercity EV travel and eradicate range anxiety, especially during road trips. The Khalpur facility has a maximum capacity of charging up to 10 EVs simultaneously. It comes with five dispensers and 10 charging points and supports charging of up to 360 kW in boost mode.

The site is located at a highway stop that also offers other amenities like parking, food outlets, restrooms, and retail services. TATA.ev customers will be also eligible for significant discounts of 25% at this location.
