December 2025 EV Sales | Best Selling EVs as Vahan Data
Electric Vehicles sales in December 2025 showed a mixed response from the market as compared to November, as electric two-wheeler sales showed a significant decline to 97,399 units from 117,648 units in November. However, electric four-wheeler sales also resulted in a minor decline to 14,870 units from 15,502.
In contrast, the e-rikshaw sales figures projected a significant rise to 57,434 units from 48,816 units in the month of November. If we talk about commercial electric three-wheeler L5 Cargo/Goods sales, it increased from 2,707 units to 2,894, followed by E-bus sales which rose to 569 from 369 and e-goods carrier sales which showed a major increase to 1,392 units from 1,297.

Tata Motors is dominating the electric four-wheeler market with more than 40% of market share, followed by JSW MG Motors and Mahindra. However, Vinfast witnessed a major jump to 4th position, strengthening its position in the Indian EV industry.
