Quench unveils an autocharge feature for EV charging that utilizes ANPR technology.

Imagine a technology which auto-detects the charging time of the car and saves energy!!
This is no more an imagination now as Quench, an EV charging solutions provider has invented and launched ANPR-enabled Autocharge feature which has been specifically made to automate the authentication process for charging of electric vehicles.
What is ANPR and How it Works
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology in Quench chargers identifies users by car’s number plate, as the vehicle comes near to the charger, an ANPR-equipped camera scans the number plate and the system analyses the required charging time to charge the car.
This process analyses the user’s profile from the charging point operator’s database, which seamlessly integrates the charging process by simply plugging in, without the use of any app or manual authentication.
Quench is also testing the ANPR-enabled technology through pilot deployments across Charge Point Operators across India. The company is also planning to bring this technology to international markets including Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.
The Chief Dream Merchant at Quench, said, ”Quench is always innovating its best potential in the EV charging technology, as the EV adoption is rapidly increasing in India, charging tech like ANPR-enabled Autocharge will play important role in ensuring a smooth and efficient charging for all users.”
Quench chargers were founded in 2020 and were installed in India and overseas. The company uses German technology and has various products and services like battery testing, charging, and lab equipment, which is used in 75 countries.
Quench comes under Ador Group, which is an 115-year old ancient company involved in energy transition initiatives, which includes testing of batteries and formation solutions, cell assembly solutions, hydrogen power generation, clean air solutions, and traffic management solutions.
