Kinetic DX electric scooter previewed before its launch on July 28.

Kinetic Green is soon going to introduce its all new electric scooter which draws major inspiration from the legendary Kinetic Honda DX scooter and has a striking similarity with its original design. However the teaser has not revealed much and has given only a glimpse of the e-scooter, as the technical specifications will be revealed on its launch scheduled on July 28. 

The design of the Kinetic DX electric scooter will include many callback elements.

The company has generated excitement among Kinetic enthusiasts by sharing teasers on their social media platforms that showcase the new iconic yet vintage electric scooter, and has given a highlight of how the scooter will look like. The teaser reveals that the body panels located below the headlight displays the Kinetic Green logo in bold, which also brightens up as Daytime Running Lamp. 

Other design inserts include a small flyscreen perched at the top of the regular headlight with ‘Kinetic’ branding on it which is quite similar to the original KiHo DX. 

One of the most important highlights from the previous retro scooter is the retention of the big red square-shaped starter button which will be carried forward to the next generation Kinetic DX electric scooter. 

The company’s first petrol scooter was the original KiHo DX which introduced the electric starter button for the first time and it became the brand’s signature touch which the company has skillfully blended into its latest scooter, bringing back fond memories for veteran Kinetic enthusiasts.

However analysing the previous spy shots, it is confirmed that the upcoming Kinetic EV will share a majority of design elements from the KiHo DX and has also confirmed that it will be launching with the brand’s famous red shade, which is the other brilliant strategy of the company associating its new scooter with their legendary scooter which once ruled the Indian roads. 

Expected Launch 

Kinetic Green is all set to bring the new legendary scooter back on Indian roads and will be launching it on July 28, however the company has not revealed anything about the prices, as Kinetic is expected to launch this scooter with a price tag of around Rs 1 Lakh (Ex-Showroom).

Kinetic has also not disclosed anything about the technical specifications in the teaser, as they will be revealing everything on the launch, however it is expected that they will be powering the Kinetic DX with an LFP battery because of the company’s focus on battery chemistry.
